Yash grew up in Kanjhawala, a village on Delhi's north-western edge — the kind of place many DU students come from, far from the campus lights.

On the court, Yash competed as an international tennis player and represented the University of Delhi at the All India and Khelo India University Games — years of discipline that shape how he shows up for others.

He completed his undergraduate degree at Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur (SGTB) Khalsa College, one of the University of Delhi's North Campus colleges.
